Join the Ageing Upwards Street Team

Writing a book is not a sprint. For me it is a mindfull marathon. Now, that the writing is almost over, I offer you to join me behind-the-scenes in the next exciting phase of getting the book out.

A couple of weeks ago I had a good chuckled over a post on LinkedIn from ProAge.org. It depicted a sign of warning saying: “Over the hill and picking up speed”. I loved this humous way to rebuke the old myth about life being all down hill when we turn 50. My upcoming book has the same aim, but personally, I also feel I have been climbing a hill during the last two years and I am now ready to share and enjoy the fruits of my effort. After having studied, researched and written about how mindfulness can help us actively embrace growing old, I am now ready to share my new-found knowledge and new framework with the world. But as we all know, life is never all down-hill and it is always better when we have good company on the journey. This is why I am reaching out to my network on this next phase.

In order to spread awareness of the book and hopefully thereby also mitigate (self-) ageism from the inside out, I invite you to join my "street team". A street team is a group of readers who are interested in helping to promote a book because of a mutually beneficial relationship.
